ARE YOU A SHEEP OR A GOAT?

Matthew 25:31-36

1. Sheep Follow. Goats Are Followed.

The shepherd leads from the front. The goatherd is forced to follow the goats from behind.

People who are like sheep follow their leader. People who are like goats want their leaders to follow them.

2. Sheep Obey. Goats Disobey.

The sheep follow the shepherd's voice. The goats needs to be wpdfbooksforum.comed with a stick or tied with a rope.

People who are like sheep obey when their leader tells them to do their devotional, worship in their homes, baptize someone, and preach the Word of God. People who are like goats do not obey their leader.

3. Sheep Are A Blessing. Goats Are A Burden.

Sheep have wool that can be used for clothing. Goat hair have no use.

People who are like sheep clothe and feed others, physically and spiritually. People who are like goats do not care about such things.

When God shows His goodness, He likes to see us respond with joy. For example, when God brought the Israelites back from captivity, He told them to hold a festival to commemorate the rebuilding of the temple and the walls of Jerusalem (Nehemiah 8). And celebrate they did!
If God wanted the Israelites to rejoice because of His goodness, would He condemn us for a festive spirit at Christmas? Was not the angel's message to the shepherds one of "good tidings of great joy"? (Luke 2:10)
It's true that the Bible does not tell us to celebrate Jesus' birthday. We don't even know the precise date, and far about the season features a pagan background. But that does not make it wrong to celebrate if Christ is kept uppermost in our lives. We don't think of mistletoe, holly, and evergreens as being pagan any more than we associate Sunday and Monday with the worship of the sun and moon gods after which these days were named. Just because unbelievers abuse Christmastime doesn't mean that we can't enjoy the holiday.
Keep Christ central. Celebrate His birth. Sing carols. Gather for family fun. Even make shopping an occasion for remembering God's goodness. When we love Jesus, He blesses our festivities

Sino ba ako noon??12 years old ako nung natuto akong uminom ng alak. ? ang panget tignan noh? Babae ako pero lasinggera ako and napaka bata ko pa that time. Broken family ako. Elementary ako, alam kong patay na tatay ko. Pero nung tumungtong ako ng high school nalaman ko na buhay lang pala. Hinanap ko sya but sad to say di pa rin pala mabu-buo ang pamilya ko. Pamilyang matagal ko ng pinapangarap. Laki ako sa simbahan pero hindi sa born again. Nag tuturo din sa mga bata, active ako sa simbahan nun. Pero hindi ko pa rin mahanap ang sagot bakit ganito buhay ko. 14 years old. Nag start ako mag sigarilyo. Isang kaha nauubos ko kada araw noon. Pero still di pa rin nasasagot ang mga tanong ko. 15 years old ako. Nag start na ako di umuwi ng bahay. Minsan isang buwan ako di nauwi. Wala akong pake alam sa pamilya ko. Pero tanong ko bakit kahit masaya ako kasama ang mga kaibigan ko meron pa ring lungkot sa puso ko. Kumikita ako sa pag co-cosplay, magic assistant, etc. ko noon. Pinaka mababa na ang 500 sa loob ng 4 hours. Pero lahat ng pera ko inuubos ko sa alak. Naadik na din ako sa dota. Born Again Christian ang manager ko. Di ko alam matagal na pala ako nila pinag pra-pray ng asawa niya. Matigas puso ko e. 3 weeks before ako mag Manila. Gusto ko sumama sa kanila sa church nila. Ewan ko parang may bumubulong sken. Hanggang sa nag dasal ako sa Panginoon na sana pag dating ko ng Davao. May Born Again Christian akong makilala. Pero di ako binigo ng Panginoon. 1st day ko pa lang dumating boyfriend ng pinsan ko, Born Again Christian siya. Pero kahit may nakilala ako, patuloy pa rin ako sa bisyo. Yung tipong inuumaga na ng uwi dahil sa inom. Kababaeng tao ko pero ang panget ng backround ko no? Pero di ko to kinakahiya. Dahil sa nakaraan ko, nag karoon ako ng testimony kung gaano kabuti ang Diyos sken. Saktong 1 month, nakapag encounter ako. Walang nag share sken ng word of God before ako mag encounter. Pero after encounter, nag bago ako. Oo, maraming temptation o bisyo ang lumapit pero mas pinili kong itigil lahat. Praise God to the highest! In just 6 months being a Born Again Christian. Teacher ako sa Children Ministry and Worship Leader na rin ako sa church namin. Lahat ng tanong ko, di pa nasasagot pero wala na yung lungkot at kakulangan dito sa puso ko. Napalitan na ng saya!❤? thank you Lord! ??
